Request a Message from HM The Queen

There is nothing more special to mark a significant date than to receive a congratulatory message from Her Majesty The Queen.

Birthdays
The Queen will send congratulatory messages for 100th and 105th birthdays, and then every year thereafter.

Wedding Anniversaries
The Queen will send congratulatory messages for 60th (Diamond),  65th (Blue Sapphire) and 70th (Platinum) wedding anniversaries, and then every year thereafter.

Request a message
To request a congratulatory message from The Queen, please visit www.gov.uk/get-birthday-anniversary-message-from-queen. You should do this at least five weeks before the date, or up to six months afterwards for a belated message.

Lieutenancy visit
Please contact the Lieutenancy Office if you would also like to request a visit from the Lord-Lieutenant or a Deputy Lieutenant. The invitation should be sent well in advance of the significant date.

Other occasions
It may be possible for other events of particular note and significance to be recognised by a message from The Queen.  Please feel free to write directly to The Queen, who is shown most of her correspondence on a daily basis and takes a keen interest in the letters she receives.  Guidance on writing to The Queen can be found at www.royal.uk/contact
