Shaun Grady serves as the Chair of AstraZeneca UK, representing the entire AstraZeneca enterprise across the UK and working closely with senior leaders to support various functions including R&D, manufacturing Operations and commercial business while managing key government and industry relationships and leading advocacy efforts. He also chairs multiple UK-focused leadership and inclusion groups.
Prior to this role, Shaun spent over 20 years in AstraZeneca’s business development and legal teams, playing a central role in major corporate transactions. Additionally, Shaun holds leadership and board roles outside AstraZeneca, including Chair of the BioIndustry Association, Chair of the Cambridge x Manchester City Partnership, and board memberships at Cambridge United Football Club, Cambridge Arts Theatre, and others, along with advisory roles and honorary fellowships at Lucy Cavendish College and the Judge Business School.
