Andrew was born in Crowland and educated at Uppingham School and The Royal Agricultural University. He is married with three children and owns a 400-acre arable farm which has diversified to include many renewable energy and recycling businesses.
Andrew is the Past Chairman of the East of England Agricultural Society and he remains involved with the investment strategy. He was awarded the Fellowship of Royal Agricultural Societies for services to Agriculture in 2020, and is head of Governors of Witham Hall Prep School. Andrew plays golf and tennis and enjoys watching all sports.
Andrew has been a Justice of the Peace since 1999 and was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant for Cambridgeshire in 2013.
