Brigadier Tim Seal TD VR DL has handed over his Vice Lord-Lieutenant badge to Mr Daryl Brown MBE DL.
Brigadier Tim Seal became His Majesty’s Vice Lord-Lieutenant in 2023 for Mrs Julie Spence OBE CStJ QPM, His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire. From Wednesday 1 July, the Vice Lord-Lieutenant is Mr Daryl Brown.
The Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire said “I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Brigadier Seal for his dedicated service and steadfast support during these last three years as Vice Lord-Lieutenant. Tim has made a valued contribution to the Lieutenancy and to the County, and I am deeply grateful for all that he has done.
“At the same time, I am delighted to welcome Daryl Brown MBE as Vice Lord-Lieutenant. Daryl brings a wealth of experience, commitment and knowledge of our communities, and I very much look forward to working closely with him in this important role as we continue to serve the people of Cambridgeshire.”
