The Lieutenancy were out in force to represent HM The Queen at 24 of the many acts of remembrance around Cambridgeshire. Most were blessed with good weather on the busiest day in the Lieutenancy calendar. Wreaths were laid at church services and at war memorials throughout the county, marking the 75th anniversary of D-Day, and the 100th anniversary of the first act of remembrance at the Cenotaph in Whitehall.
