The Countess of Wessex visits Cambridgeshire

On Sunday 8th September 2019, the Countess of Wessex and her daughter Lady Louise attended the last day of the Burghley Horse Trials.

Both enjoyed watching showjumping, and browsing through some of the 600 or so exhibitors.  The Countess was on hand to present prizes, including marking the retirement of Sir Mark Todd from competitive eventing.

The trials are one of the world’s great equestrian events, welcoming over 150,000 visitors.
